In this role, you will provide critical litigation support to our attorneys by conducting legal research, drafting and preparing legal documents, maintaining calendars, and assisting with comprehensive trial and hearing preparation. This position features a reliable Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a starting wage of $23.00 per hour. Responsibilities

• Legal Research: Investigating the facts of a case and researching relevant laws, judicial decisions, and legal articles to help lawyers build a strategy.
  
  
• Drafting Legal Documents: Preparing initial drafts of documents like motions, pleadings, briefs, contracts, and affidavits.
  
  
• Case Management & Organization: Keeping track of deadlines, organizing physical and electronic case files, and managing the trial calendar to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
  
  
• Client and Witness Interviews: Serving as a primary point of contact to gather information, take statements, and keep clients updated on the status of their cases.
  
  
• Trial Preparation: Helping attorneys get ready for court by organizing exhibits, preparing trial notebooks, summoning witnesses, and managing evidence during the trial itself.
  
  
• Billing and Administrative Support: Tracking billable hours, coordinating with court clerks, and ensuring legal documents are filed correctly with the court.
