Responsibilities
- Respond to Medicare members’ inquiries regarding benefits, products, services, resources, networks, and policies.
- Identify issues affecting members and providers; notify the appropriate internal business areas to track and resolve problems.
- Support retention strategies by providing exceptional service to members and providers across both over-the-phone and in-person interactions.
- Ensure strict compliance in all activities with internal policies as well as regulatory agency guidelines.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities for ancillary products, such as dental insurance.
- Maintain precise records of customer interactions, process member account changes, record inquiry details/actions, and escalate unresolved issues to appropriate departments for deep-dive research.
- Operate flexibly across multiple capacities, including acting as a Medicare Concierge phone agent and a Community Outreach Specialist (over the telephone, at corporate offices, retail stores, and community engagement events).
- Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned.
