This is a direct hire opportunity for a fast-paced construction company offering a base salary and full benefits package.

Responsibilities
- Financial Stewardship: Lead all general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, job costing, cash management, and financial reporting functions.
- WIP & Job Cost Ownership: Own the Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedule and percentage-of-completion accounting; collaborate closely with Project Managers on over/under billings, percent complete, and project profitability.
- Treasury & Forecasting: Manage the company's cash position, oversee bank reconciliations, approve disbursements, and build short-term forecasting models.
- Budgeting & Analysis: Drive the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles, delivering detailed variance analysis directly to the CEO.
- Compliance & Tax Liaison: Coordinate year-end audits and compilations with the external CPA firm; manage corporate sales/use tax, property tax, income tax, and 1099 compliance.
- Surety & Risk Management: Manage bonding, lender reporting, and insurance requirements, including the preparation of financial statements and covenant certifications.
- Payroll & System Optimization: Oversee payroll accuracy in partnership with HR, ensuring total compliance with payroll taxes, workers' comp audits, and certified payroll requirements.
- System Administration: Serve as the internal owner of Sage 100 Contractor, driving automation and process efficiencies across all reporting modules.
