Responsibilities
- Administer and coordinate end-to-end leave of absence and workplace accommodation programs in alignment with FMLA, ADA, and company policies.
- Research, respond to, and document frequently asked questions regarding leaves. Assign priorities to incoming calls or emails based on urgency and escalate major legal issues to management when necessary.
- Enter and update leave data in designated HR systems, databases, and spreadsheets. Manage all case paperwork, including compiling, sorting, filing, scanning, and faxing documentation.
- Obtain, verify, and track authentication/medical certifications from healthcare providers, proactively requesting clarification on required information as needed.
- Act as the main bridge to the company's third-party leave administration vendors, monitoring notifications and ensuring accountability.
