Responsibilities
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to FDA 21 CFR 210/211, 201, and 330, alongside cGMP standards, for all packaging and labeling operations.
- Oversee Quality Operations: Supervise the QA team and direct in-process checks, including lot verification, fill/weight accuracy, and product inspections to ensure zero defects.
- Manage Batch & Label Control: Review all executed packaging records and oversee label reconciliation and line clearance processes to prevent mix-ups and cross-contamination.
- Lead Documentation & Audits: Enforce good documentation practices (GDP) and document control while preparing the facility for internal and external FDA/customer audits.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and investigate deviations, facilitate root cause analysis, and manage CAPA closure to ensure robust process stability.
- Supervise & Develop Teams: Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for QA staff, ensuring effective training on SOPs and safety requirements.
- Coordinate Cross-Functionally: Facilitate clear communication between production, management, and customers to support efficient workflow and timely problem resolution.
