Position Summary: Responsible for operating extraction, scanning and mail sorting equipment within the Lockbox. Role ensures accurate, timely handling of incoming mail and payments. Other duties may be assigned. Key Responsibilities: - Operate and maintain mail sort, extraction and scanning equipment. OPEX 150/IEM, OPEX Falcon, OPEX MPS 40 -Receive, sort and prepare incoming mail for processing in accordance with established procedures -Monitor machine performance identifying jams, misfeeds or equipment issues, resolving or escalating as required -Ensure all work is completed within established production deadlines -Perform basic quality checks to verify accuracy -Follow all compliance, audit and operational procedures -Support general mailroom functions as required -Ability to lift/carry 10-15 lbs as needed (trays of mail) -Promotes a culture of collaboration and engagement -Meet established performance metrics for productivity and quality Skills: -strong attention to detail and accuracy -Ability to operate machinery in a fast paced production environment -Basic troubleshooting and problem solving skills -Good organizational and time management skills -Ability to follow detailed procedures -Team oriented Qualifications: -High school diploma -1-3 years of Lockbox, Mailroom or production environment preferred but not required -OPEX Falcon, OPEX 150/IEM, OPEX 40 or similar mail, extraction, scanning equipment preferred
