- Position: Sourcing Specialist II
- Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite)
- Duration: 1-Year Contract
- Pay Rate: Up to $46.67/hr
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree + 5–10 years of related work experience in Supply Chain.
- Ability to travel occasionally (overnight/plant visits; reimbursed travel expenses).
- Experience in major utilities supporting power plants, outages, or capital projects.
- Demonstrated expertise sourcing labor/services, materials, and engineered power plant equipment.
- contract negotiation and financial analysis skills.
- Familiarity with e-Sourcing tools (e.g., PowerAdvocate) and ERP systems (e.g., CAS, Maximo).

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead high-value sourcing strategies, drive supplier negotiations, and manage complex categories supporting the Regulated and Renewables Energy (RRE) business unit.
- Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sourcing strategies, handle RFQs/RFPs, and manage Alliance & Master Service Agreements.
- Negotiation & Cost Savings: Partner with senior supplier management to drive cost avoidance, process efficiencies, and favorable contract terms.
- Relationship & Contract Management: Manage supplier relationships, dispute resolutions, price changes, and invoice management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside project managers to support equipment bid events, outages, and capital projects.
