A Healthcare Organization is expanding its team and looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Medical Payment Collector to join their busy practice in Melville, NY! Responsibilities
- Manage aging reports for assigned insurance carriers.
- Contact insurers to negotiate settlements and resolve outstanding balances.
- Review and respond to EOBs, denials, and rejected claims.
- Collect, review, and appeal unpaid or underpaid claims for quick resolution.
- Record all appeal attempts in USMON software for tracking.
- Accurately post payments to maintain up-to-date accounts.
- Maintain a high level of productivity by following up with 30-35 claims per day.
