- Champion Employee & Labor Relations: Provide fair, practical HR guidance on site policies, benefits, and performance coaching. Assist with union contract interpretation, grievance documentation, and workplace reviews.
- Enhance Factory Presence & Culture: Maintain high visibility on the production floor across shifts to build trust, address concerns early, and drive team engagement initiatives.
- Lead Talent & Onboarding Support: Oversee recruiting logistics, lead interactive new-hire orientations, and partner with leaders to ensure a seamless candidate and employee experience.
- Support HR Operations & Compliance: Maintain precise personnel records, utilize HRIS platforms, and align practices with employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA) and safety standards.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Participate in factory routines, analyze key HR metrics, and recommend practical actions that simplify workflows and elevate site culture.
- Experience: 3+ years as an HR Generalist, HR Operations Specialist, or in Employee Relations. Experience in 24/7 manufacturing, supply chain, or CPG environments is preferred.
- Union Exposure: Preferred background in unionized settings supporting collective bargaining agreement administration.
- Technical & Legal Knowledge: Working familiarity with labor standards, HR systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, UKG), and Microsoft Office.
- Core Strengths: Robust employee relations judgment, clear communication skills, and a solution-focused mindset.
