Responsibilities
- Partner with department leaders to provide expert guidance on performance management, coaching, policy interpretation, and workplace dynamics
- Conduct workplace investigations and resolve employee relations matters with empathy, speed, and discretion
- Support managers through coaching, disciplinary actions, and terminations aligned with best practices and company policies
- Lead end-to-end onboarding and orientation to deliver a seamless welcoming experience for new hires
- Process new hires and manage complete I-9 compliance within ADP
- Submit weekly payroll for multiple entities via ADP
- Administer employee benefits programs, manage 401(k) eligibility rollouts, and process PFL and disability claims through our carrier
- Maintain hyper-accurate HR files, personnel records, and compliance documentation
- Ensure strict adherence to federal, New York State, and local labor laws and employment regulations
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR workflows and improve operational efficiency
- Support recruitment and interviewing efforts as needed to keep staffing seamless
