Responsibilities
Position Summary: Oversee all aspects of the accounts receivable department while managing dual billing responsibilities. This role focuses on processing customer invoicing, entering payments, navigating state portals, and maintaining high data accuracy within accounting systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Correctly process, record, and verify customer payments and checks on a regular basis.
- Manage customer invoicing, billing workflows, and navigate state portals/websites.
- Communicate professionally with customers to resolve overdue invoices and billing discrepancies.
- Utilize billing platforms and standard software to input financial data and track accounts.
- Answer incoming phone calls in a friendly, professional manner and assist with team projects.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.
- Proven experience in both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing functions.
- Proficiency working within state portals and MS Office Suite (Waystar experience is a major plus).
- strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
