Responsibilities
Inbound Triage: Monitor and manage the Compliance inbox, independently resolving routine inquiries and appropriately escalating high-priority or complex regulatory issues to senior leadership.
Drafting Communications: Prepare formal correspondence for regulatory bodies, consumer complaint responses, and ad-hoc inquiries.
Licensing & SERFF Filings: Oversee routine regulatory schedules, including state licensing renewals, annual filings, and insurance product submissions through SERFF (System for Electronic Rates & Forms Filing).
Cross-Functional Coordination: Lead project management efforts for compliance initiatives, tracking task timelines from initial request to resolution.
Documentation Collection: Gather, organize, and analyze internal and external documents needed to construct accurate, timely compliance responses.
Contract Logging: Maintain an organized contract database by filing executed agreements and tracking key terms, renewal dates, and obligations.
Invoice Tracking: Coordinate compliance-related invoice processing with leadership to ensure timely review, approval, and vendor payment.
Product Expertise: Build a deep understanding of our products and relevant legal frameworks to resolve operational issues independently and minimize unnecessary escalations.
Analysis & Operations: Perform initial analysis on emerging compliance matters, assist with presentation decks, and support broader company initiatives as needed.
