Responsibilities
- Deal & Transaction Support: Coordinate client due diligence, gather essential transaction files, track critical deadlines, and systematically organize reports to keep transactions on schedule.
- Corporate Filings: Assist in the preparation and filing of UCC financing statements, entity formations, governance documents, and Secretary of State filings.
- Document & Lifecycle Management: Draft group-specific legal documents, manage engagement letters, and maintain accurate index structures in the firm's electronic document management system.
- Asset Rebalancing & Transfers: Obtain precise asset and personal information required for complex estate administration, facilitating the seamless transfer of assets to beneficiaries in accordance with testamentary documents.
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous, audit-ready financial records and tracking account activities for active estates and trusts.
- Intermediary Communication: Serve as a core liaison, collaborating effectively with clients, CPAs, financial advisors, brokers, trust officers, and bankers regarding estate planning matters.
- Intake & Questionnaire Management: Assist attorneys in gathering detailed client data and financial metrics for specialized Estate Planning Questionnaires.
- Basic Drafting: Support the drafting of foundational planning directives, including wills, powers of attorney, living will directives, and HIPAA authorizations.
