Are you a bilingual logistics professional with a passion for driver safety, clear communication, and smooth supply chain operations? We are seeking an energetic, experienced Truck Dispatcher & Safety Trainer to lead our fleet of construction material transport drivers. In this dynamic role, you won't just dispatch routes—you will serve as the backbone of our field safety program, training drivers on proper material loading, safe transport techniques, and efficient delivery protocols.

salary: $18 - $20 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School



Responsibilities

Dispatch & Route Optimization

• Plan, map, and dispatch daily routes for construction material transport (e.g., gravel, concrete, steel, heavy equipment).
  
  
• Continuously monitor weather, traffic, and construction zone delays to provide drivers with optimal real-time routing.
  
  
• Serve as the main point of contact between drivers, site managers, and clients, ensuring clearcommunication.
  
  

2. Driver Training & Material Loading

• Conduct hands-on training for new and existing drivers on:
  
  
  • Proper truck loading and weight distribution techniques.
    
    
  • Cargo securement protocols tailored to specific construction materials.
    
    
  • Safe unloading procedures at busy job sites.
    
    
• Ensure all drivers follow strict delivery timelines while adhering to customer-specific drop-off instructions.
  
  

3. Safety & Compliance Oversight

• Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspection training and safety audits.
  
  
• Ensure full compliance with local, state, and DOT regulations (Hours of Service, weight limits, site safety).
  
  
• Lead regular safety meetings (Toolbox Talks) in both English and Spanish to foster a proactive safety culture.
