Minimum Requirements
- NetSuite Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience utilizing NetSuite for accounts receivable, billing, or cash application operations required.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of dedicated Accounts Receivable, billing, or general accounting clerical experience. Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment is required.
- Education: High school diploma/GED required (Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is a plus).
- Mathematical & Analytical Skills: Demonstrated capability to compute percentages, averages, and basic algebraic formulas within Microsoft Excel. strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills.
- Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, advanced Excel) and cloud-based accounting databases.

Responsibilities
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Billing & Invoicing: Daily review and processing of customer billing inputs using NetSuite; ensure accurate calculation of service fees, line items, and applicable taxes before sending invoices.
- Cash Application: Accurately apply daily cash receipts—including ACH, wire transfers, credit cards, and checks—to correct customer accounts in NetSuite. Reconcile daily payment logs against bank statements.
- Collections & Account Monitoring: Monitor aging reports to identify past-due accounts. Proactively contact clients regarding payment status, build positive customer relationships, and negotiate compliant payment arrangements.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Identify, investigate, and resolve billing discrepancies, short-payments, unapplied cash, and disputed charges in a timely manner. Coordinate with internal department managers as needed.
- NetSuite System Maintenance: Maintain accurate customer database records in NetSuite, including credit terms, contact information, billing preferences, and general ledger coding.
- Process Improvement & Reporting: Leverage NetSuite reporting capabilities to generate automated weekly/monthly AR aging and cash forecast reports for management. Recommend workflow and procedure enhancements.
