- Experience: 2–4 years in freight/3PL account coordination or transportation operations.
- Logistics Knowledge: Solid understanding of domestic ground modes (FTL, LTL, intermodal) and full shipment lifecycles.
- Systems: Experience with TMS platforms (e2open TMF, Descartes Aljex preferred); proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook) and Teams.
- Operations: Skilled in reading load boards, applying consolidation decision trees, and managing customer relationships calmly under pressure.
- Communication: Clear written communication for summarizing exceptions and escalating issues effectively.
- Specialized Programs: Experience supporting high-value/security-sensitive accounts with strict SOPs and cross-border documentation.
- Platform Reconciliation: Hands-on experience matching customer order portals with internal TMS systems.
- Tools & Workflow: Familiarity with dock/appointment scheduling; detail orientation across high-volume queues.
- Problem Solving: Ability to differentiate between one-off exceptions and systemic issues to route appropriately.
- Setting: Fast-paced control tower/operations center driving continuous shipment flow.
- Schedule & Handover: Aligned to customer hours with availability for critical escalations; relies on structured shift handovers.
- Metrics: Evaluated on intake accuracy, response speed, and data quality.
