Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Experience: 2–5 years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting or corporate experience preferred).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, Sage, or SAP).
- Advanced Excel capabilities (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, SUMIFs).
- Proficiency with ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, Sage, or SAP).
- Knowledge: strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Location: Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Jacksonville, FL area and work 100% on-site.

Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Maintain general ledger accounts, prepare and post journal entries, and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Month-End & Year-End Close: Assist in driving a timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and variance analysis for management review.
- Accounts Receivable & Payable: Support AR/AP workflows, including invoice processing, vendor maintenance, and collections tracking.
- Fixed Assets & Inventory: Track and reconcile fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and inventory accounting.
- Banking & Cash Management: Perform daily bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow movements, and assist with treasury operations.
- Tax Preparation Support: Gather and organize necessary documentation to support monthly/quarterly sales tax filings and annual corporate tax prep.
- Internal Controls & Process Improvement: Identify operational inefficiencies and assist in developing and maintaining robust internal controls to safeguard assets.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with operations, payroll, and project teams to ensure accurate cost allocation, expense tracking, and budget monitoring.
- Compliance & Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audit requests, tax schedules, and ensure strict compliance with GAAP guidelines.
