Responsibilities
This contractor will be assisting the trade services desk with day-to-day operations gathering documents, checking letters of credit, and assisting with trade processing by ensuring complete and accurate records in the SOR.
DUTIES
- Extensive paper document handling
- Logistics
- Core workflow: receive inbound courier packages (DHL, UPS, FedEx), open, identify, and index documents
- Document types: bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, etc.
- Log to SharePoint, capture in trade work system, scan for overnight processing
- Outbound: package and ship documents to customers or overseas banks via courier
- Create courier labels, endorse bills of lading as needed
- High attention to detail required: wrong documents to wrong customers = risk
- Creating party records within Tradework systems
- Receiving customer set up forms – create and amend in Tradeworks
- Utilizing Vantage systems – will be working with CEO trade setup
- Internal partner facing – internal stakeholders
- Emailing and communication – heavy email focus (possible phone calls w/ WF-India)
- Will input and release requirements
