In this critical leadership role, you will join an established finance department and take direct ownership of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closings. The company's fiscal year ends in March, making this an ideal time to step in and drive financial excellence before year-end preparation begins.
This is a fast-paced, execution-focused position designed for a seasoned accounting professional who thrives under tight deadlines and enjoys team leadership. The work rhythm operates on a predictable two-week cadence: two weeks focused on close preparation and process management, followed by two weeks of intensive close execution.

Responsibilities
- Close Management: Lead and execute full month-end, quarter-end, and fiscal year-end financial closings, consistently meeting strict 7-business-day monthly close windows.
- Team Leadership & Development: Directly supervise, coach, and mentor direct reports, establishing KPI goals, evaluating performance, and fostering a culture of accountability.
- Financial Reporting & Integrity: Oversee trial balance reviews, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and internal financial statement preparation.
- ERP & Data Querying: Utilize SAP / Enterprise ERP systems to run data queries, build reports, and analyze complex manufacturing financial metrics.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in the close cycle and implement streamlined workflows to enhance closing efficiency and data accuracy.
