Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Tax Preparation & Review: Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for C-Corps, S-Corps, LLCs, Partnerships, High-Net-Worth Individuals, and Trusts/Fiduciaries.
  
  
• Tax Planning & Advisory: Identify tax-saving opportunities, perform quarterly projection calculations, and assist clients with long-term tax planning strategies.
  
  
• Accounting & Financial Review: Review general ledgers, perform month-end reconciliations, and draft adjusting journal entries in tools like QuickBooks Online to prepare client records for tax reporting.
  
  
• Client Relationship Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, gathering financial documents, and explaining complex tax issues in a clear, actionable manner.
  
  
• Audit & Notice Defense: Draft responses to IRS and state tax authority notices, assisting with audit preparation when necessary.
  
  
• Research & Compliance: Conduct technical tax research on emerging federal and state regulations (including Missouri/Illinois cross-border tax considerations).
