In this high-impact position, you will move beyond standard ledger postings to act as a core financial business partner to venue management. You will oversee full-cycle accounting, monitor daily food, beverage, and labor expenses, and help operations understand the financial impact of their decisions to maximize profitability across the board. This is a direct hire opportunity offering a true 9-5 schedule, base salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & General Ledger: Manage daily accounting functions, prepare journal entries, perform complex reconciliations, and drive the full month-end and year-end closing cycles.
- Restaurant & Cost Accounting: Calculate and analyze COGS, prime costs, labor allocations, and inventory valuations; track purchasing activity to identify cost fluctuations and protect venue margins.
- P&L & KPI Analysis: Analyze monthly balance sheets and P&Ls, investigate operational variances, and deliver clear financial dashboards to executive management.
- Accounts Payable & Payroll Oversight: Supervise the accounts payable workflow, review vendor statement reconciliations, monitor aging reports, and oversee weekly payroll runs—including complex restaurant tip policy compliance.
- Operational Business Partnering: Collaborate directly with General Managers and Culinary leadership to break down cost variances, refine menu pricing, and help operations understand the financial impact of their decisions.
- Internal Controls & Process Enhancement: Maintain and elevate accounting procedures, identify control weaknesses, and safeguard financial record accuracy.
