Responsibilities
Production Operations Coach would be responsible for the day to day activities of all Randstad employees assigned to the client site. Coaching employees on policy violations, included but not limited to, performance, GMP, and safety. The majority of the time will be spent out on the produciton floor, on your feet, ensuring that all client needs are met - this will require a deep understanding of production and what the process is on each production line. Communication skills will be required to keep the client informed regarding any safety incidents or staffing concerns - email and verbal.
- Training new hires out on the production floor and providing on the spot performance reviews.
- Enforcing PPE and GMP policies; on the spot coaching/correction of policy violations.
- Attend meetings to stay up to date on the facility's production and safety concerns.
- Managing daily attendance. Provide the client with alternate coverage in case of call outs.
- Constant floor walk throughs to ensure all employees are accounted for and client needs are met.
- Manage new start training and ensuring training paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
- Daily review of production staff/schedule and communicating with plant leadership if changes need to be made.
- Confirming employees for overtime or extra shifts per business needs.
- Managing timekeeping/payroll systems.
- Handling employee accident investigations.
- Prepare a daily pass down with pending actions and activity for the night for the next shift
