We are hiring a dedicated Wealth Management IRA Specialist to serve as the chief operational partner for our Private Client Advisors. If you excel at navigating regulatory frameworks and managing high-stakes transactions with precision, this role offers direct ownership and visibility.
Core Responsibilities
- Primary Advisory Partner: Serve as the central point of contact for Private Client Advisors, delivering fast, compliant resolutions for complex account needs.
- Distribution Management: Oversee time-sensitive, high-risk transactions—including normal, premature, death, and custodian-to-custodian transfers—while maintaining accurate federal and state tax withholdings.
- Compliance & Oversight: Manage Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) tracking, audit accounts for missing client details, and ensure full adherence to tax and audit regulations.
- Cross-Functional Liaison: Bridge communications between Advisors and internal Operations, Audit, Compliance, Legal, and Tax teams.
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred (or equivalent experience), alongside 2–5 years in wealth management, finance, or trust operations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access database tools, paired with a solid grasp of trust industry terminology.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of IRA taxation and compliance rules; an active ABA CISP designation (or willingness to earn it) is highly preferred. If you're interested and your skills align please send your resume to mia.williams@randstadusa.com
