Responsibilities
- Handle all incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Manage hot-shot drivers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient service
- Assist walk-in customers by providing excellent service and addressing their battery needs
- Handle and balance invoices generated during daily operations
- Follow up with our largest customers on a weekly basis to ensure total satisfaction and verify that battery supply levels are adequate
- Provide assistance with warehouse and office duties as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook and Excel
- strong knowledge of the local geographical area
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proven ability to multi-task
- Previous experience in telephone and dispatch operations is preferred
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
- Works under general supervision
- Accountable for maintaining high individual accuracy
- Shared responsibility for outgoing inventory
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude at all times
- This role is based in an office environment but involves regular exposure to battery warehouse conditions, including moving equipment, mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals
- Regularly required to stand, walk, hear, talk, and use hands to grasp and handle objects
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs without assistance
- Use of PPE may be required
