This is a hands-on role overseeing a multi-building portfolio of approximately 500 units throughout Westchester.

Property Manager Tenant Relations & Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to building residents.
- Work in coordination with office and building staff to address repair/maintenance items and tenant issues.
- Ensure high levels of tenant satisfaction and retention.
- Coordinate with leasing to facilitate lease renewals and move-in/move-out procedures.
- Pursue tenants who do not sign lease renewals.
- Oversee superintendents, porters, and maintenance staff.
- Hire and terminate employment of building staff.
- Implement systems to enhance efficiency and oversight of employees.
- Supervise maintenance and repair of residential units and common areas.
- Ensure properties are consistently clean and in good repair.
- Conduct regular property inspections and maintain inspection records.
- Monitor and oversee purchase, storage, and use of materials for maintenance.
- Hire and coordinate with third-party vendors/contractors when needed.
- Address safety and liability concerns proactively.
- Coordinate with office staff on rent collections and non-payment enforcement.
- Coordinate with leasing staff to ensure timely lease renewals.
- Review and approve maintenance and repair-related invoices.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal housing regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
