Responsibilities
- Perform detailed visual inspections of manufactured products and components.
- Inspect small parts and components using microscopes and other visual inspection equipment.
- Use small hand tools and precision measuring instruments to verify product dimensions and specifications.
- Identify defects, imperfections, cosmetic issues, dimensional discrepancies, or other quality concerns.
- Compare finished products against established quality standards, specifications, drawings, samples, and work instructions.
- Inspect parts for proper appearance, workmanship, cleanliness, and overall quality.
- Accurately measure and document inspection results.
- Separate and document non-conforming or defective products.
- Complete inspection records and other required quality documentation accurately.
- Communicate quality issues to supervisors and appropriate production personnel.
- Follow established inspection procedures, work instructions, and company quality requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection/work area.
- Perform repetitive inspection tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist with other quality-related duties as needed.
