Responsibilities
- Perform detailed visual inspections of components before, during, and after processing.
- Identify surface imperfections, foreign material, discoloration, damage, or other conditions that may affect product quality.
- Prepare, organize, and handle components according to established work instructions.
- Load and unload components into abrasive blasting and other manufacturing equipment.
- Operate production equipment after appropriate training and qualification.
- Perform blasting and surface-treatment operations according to established procedures and customer specifications.
- Properly position and secure components to ensure consistent processing.
- Clean and prepare components between manufacturing steps as required.
- Assist with specialized surface-treatment processes, including titanium anodizing, as training and qualification are completed.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
- Accurately complete production paperwork, inspection records, and other required documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Handle components carefully to prevent damage, contamination, or mix-ups.
- Communicate quality issues, equipment concerns, or unusual conditions to supervisors or appropriate personnel.
- Work closely with other members of the Manufacturing and Quality teams to meet production requirements.
- Assist with other manufacturing activities as needed.
