In this onsite contract role (running through the end of the year), you will be an integral part of our facility, ensuring our workforce is supported, compliant, and thriving. Your Impact and Opportunities
- Champion HR Operations: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR department, ensuring seamless daily operations and service delivery.
- Engage with the Team: Walk the warehouse floor daily to build rapport, effectively communicate HR initiatives, and ensure our evolving culture remains connected.
- Drive Process Efficiency: Open tickets to resolve payroll concerns quickly, process FedEx shipments, and maintain accurate employee electronic files.
- Optimize Reporting & Compliance: Develop and maintain crucial HR reporting, including headcount, training records, and performance evaluations, while leading I-9 audits and compliance tracking.
- Cultivate Talent: Participate in recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews, coordinating background checks/eVerify, and conducting engaging new hire orientations.
- Foster Community: Plan site activities, create engaging event flyers, and maintain communication boards to keep our team informed and motivated.
- Essential: 3+ years previous, demonstrated experience in Human Resources is required to ensure you can quickly contribute to key projects.
- Essential: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Essential: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., SUM function, sorting, print scaling) and Microsoft Word (e.g., page breaks, table formatting).
- Preferred: A Bachelor’s degree is highly valued.
