Responsibilities
- Manage the ADA Interactive Process: Evaluate incoming remote work and workplace accommodation requests, driving the end-to-end interactive discussion with empathy, clarity, and compliance.
- Develop Creative Alternatives: Partner with employees and business leaders to identify and implement viable alternative accommodations when primary requests cannot be granted as submitted.
- Navigate Challenging Conversations: Exercise sde-escalation, professional resilience, and clear communication when delivering sensitive accommodation decisions.
- Oversee an Active Caseload: Independently manage a pipeline of approximately 70 cases at various stages of completion, tracking medical documentation and maintaining timely, detailed case notes.
- background in HR operations, disability accommodations, leave administration, or employee relations.
- Direct experience facilitating the ADA interactive process and evaluating accommodation requests.
- Proven resilience and de-escalation skills to navigate complex, highly sensitive conversations effectively.
