Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Request and follow up on purchase orders by phone and email
- Create purchase orders and place stock orders
- Track shipments and follow up on delivery status
- Monitor inventory levels and usage trends
- Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, quotes, and order updates
- Proactively follow up on outstanding POs rather than waiting for responses
- Enter and maintain accurate purchasing and inventory information
- Go into the warehouse as needed to check inventory and match products against purchase orders
- Assist with resolving order discrepancies or missing inventory
- Support additional purchasing and administrative needs as assigned
- strong communication and follow-up skills
- Comfortable making outbound calls to vendors and suppliers
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in both an office and warehouse environment
- Able to take initiative and follow through on outstanding tasks
Previous purchasing experience is not required. The team is willing to train the right candidate on purchase orders, inventory coordination, and related processes.
