We are seeking an accurate, control-minded Fund Accounting Bookkeeper for a full-time, direct-hire role. Working with our close-knit team, you will keep the financial gears turning for ~40 employee benefit plans (including Taft-Hartley and municipal clients).

Key Requirements:
- 3–5 years of fund accounting or specialized bookkeeping experience.
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Desktop 2023 and benefit administration platforms.
- Experience with month-end closes, trustee reporting, disbursements, and audit/tax filings. You will be supporting disbursement scheduling/processing oversight, month-end close activities, trustee reporting support, audit support, and recurring tax filings and payments across multiple clients with varying fiscal years.

Responsibilities
Prepare and file federal and state tax filings associated with member benefit payments across multiple
plans/entities, including Form 941 (and other required filings as applicable)
Process and track tax deposits and payments according to required schedules
(monthly/quarterly/annual) and retain confirmations
Use federal and state electronic filing and payment systems/tax portals and maintain organized
supporting documentation
For designated clients, prepare and submit required state unemployment filings and payments
Maintain strong internal controls and support segregation of duties (payment processing and bank
reconciliation responsibilities are assigned accordingly)
Additional job duties as required
