Responsibilities
- Accept inbound calls from patients, physician offices, and insurance carriers to collect self-pay balances and resolve concerns promptly
- Make outbound calls to patients, provider offices, and insurance carriers as needed to facilitate account resolution
- Adhere strictly to all healthcare laws, regulations, and industry standards, including HIPAA guidelines and patient verification protocols
- Maintain call quality and productivity standards while following provided scripts for consistent account resolution
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, call center, or healthcare billing operations
- Quality understanding of insurance claim processing and medical billing terminology preferred
- Proficiency with phone systems, account management software, and electronic documentation tools
- Competitive hourly wage of $21.00 - $22.00/hr
- Consistent daytime working schedule
