Key Responsibilities
- Plan Administration: Administer and manage Taft-Hartley benefit plans, including multi-employer health, pension, and annuity funds.
- Compliance & Accuracy: Maintain accurate records and ensure strict compliance with ERISA, Department of Labor (DOL), and specific plan requirements.
- Client & Trustee Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for trustees and plan professionals, meeting with clients and traveling as required.
- Reporting & Audits: Oversee the preparation of meeting reports, reconcile accounts, and assist with annual audits.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex inquiries and continuously optimize operations.
- Experience: Background in Taft-Hartley plans, multi-employer benefit administration, or union trust funds (preferred).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of ERISA compliance, labor union benefit structures, and related regulations.
- Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation capabilities.
- Tech Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with specialized benefit administration software is a plus.
- Execution: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment.
