Responsibilities
- Develop a solid understanding of the carrier’s guidelines and benefit offerings to be able to investigate and resolve questions.
- Understand and learn the functions of how to use the necessary computer programs including but not limited to Salesforce, Microsoft Suite, carrier websites, etc.
- Working with the client advisors and/or carriers to assist the group with resolving issues by determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, and following up to ensure the resolution.
- Maintain the Book of Business (BoB), spreadsheets & other reporting as needed. Including managing, compiling and delivering monthly performance metrics, monthly renewals, new sales, and leads received/tracking.
- Assist with compiling monthly renewal packets. Pulling renewal documents from carrier websites, reviewing and outlining key changes, draft email for client advisor for final review and submission to group.
- Assign new leads to client advisors and send initial email response.
- Providing support to the client advisors during the sales process.
- Maintaining a team approach by working well, being punctual and being respectful to co-workers and management.
- Answer calls and emails from current clients and prospects with questions and follow-up as needed.
- Maintain and organize client and carrier electronic files.
- Work overtime if needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
