We are seeking a detail-oriented, adaptable Accounting Bookkeeper. In this role, you will maintain the day-to-day financial pulse of the organization, managing general ledger entries, processing daily transactions, and producing clear financial summaries for leadership. The ideal candidate blends strong foundational bookkeeping knowledge with hands-on enterprise software experience, demonstrating discretion with sensitive financial data and an organized, problem-solving mindset. You must be comfortable working in a small to mid sized organization where you will pivot and wear multiple hats. Responsibilities

• Ledger & Transaction Processing: Record routine financial activity across accounts, including client billings, vendor invoices, incoming receipts, and account reconciliations.
  
  
• Payables & Receivables: Oversee end-to-end AP/AR workflows—reviewing, verifying, posting, and resolving discrepancies with invoices and customer accounts.
  
  
• Payroll & Tax Support: Administer payroll processing and statutory filings; assist senior accounting staff with tax prep schedules and year-end form distribution (W-2s, 1099s).
  
  
• Reporting & Compliance: Compile account summaries, trial balances, and ad-hoc financial schedules while maintaining strict compliance with GAAP as well as local, state, and federal reporting standards.
  
  
• Banking & Asset Oversight: Facilitate bank deposits, track enterprise assets, verify monthly statements, and monitor cash movements.
  
  
• Operations & Communication: Serve as a responsive primary contact for vendor, client, and banking inquiries; assist with general administrative finance support and mail routing.
