In this active role, you will be responsible for picking up mail from the local post office at 1:00 AM using a 16-foot box truck and transporting it back to the processing facility. Throughout your shift, you will load and unload heavy mail carts and APCs, operate slicing machines to open mail quickly, and return empty crates and containers to the post office each morning. Work hours begin around midnight, typically wrapping up once daily slicing is complete (e.g., Mondays 12:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Tuesdays 12:00 AM – 10:00 AM, and Wednesdays through Fridays 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM, with Saturday shifts available). Position Summary:

- Push, pull, load, and unload mail carts, trays, and APCs to and from the truck.
- Operate high-speed slicing equipment to open incoming mail efficiently.
- Return empty mail crates and APC containers to the post office each morning.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure mailroom workspace.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record; experience driving a 16-foot box truck.
- Ability to meet physical demands, including loading, unloading, pushing/pulling heavy carts, and standing.
- Dependable attendance and flexibility to work overnight hours starting around midnight.
- Ability to pass standard background screening and provide valid photo identification.
