Are you a detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for supply chain? We are seeking a Parts Buyer to play a critical role in our semiconductor procurement operations. You will serve as the operational bridge between Engineering, Logistics, and Global Suppliers, ensuring fabrication operations run at peak uptime and efficiency.

As a Parts Buyer, you won’t just be "ordering things"—you will drive end-to-end lifecycle management for critical fab equipment spare parts, high-value consumables, and maintenance tooling. From expediting cleanroom components to resolving inventory discrepancies, your precision directly safeguards production continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• PO Management: Generate, track, and expedite Purchase Orders (POs) and Material Purchase Requests. Reconcile 3-way matching discrepancies (PO, Goods Receipt/GR, and AP Invoice) to keep accounts in good standing.
  
  
• Vendor Diplomacy & HQ Alignment: Partner with global equipment OEMs and Samsung HQ to verify lead times, align allocation strategies, and track supplier SLAs and On-Time Delivery (OTD).
  
  
• Logistics & Troubleshooting: Act as the escalation point for delayed, damaged, or lost freight. Resolve cleanroom dock receiving bottlenecks, manage RMA non-conforming part returns, and drive root-cause corrective actions.
  
  
• Data Analysis & Inventory: Monitor safety stock thresholds and consumption trends to eliminate tool-down risks. Track procurement KPIs (turnover, cycle times) using ERP tools and deliver spend reports.
  
  
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Equipment Engineers, Technicians, and Warehouse teams to clarify technical part specifications, supersede old parts, and prioritize dock-to-stock staging.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  
  
• 2–4+ years of procurement/buying experience, ideally in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing.
  
  
• Hands-on proficiency with ERP/MRP platforms (SAP MM/WM preferred; Oracle) and advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
  
  
• strong negotiation, interpersonal diplomacy, and root-cause problem-solving skills under time-critical conditions.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience, with at least 1+ year specifically in Procurement or a supply chain-related field.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  
  
• Soft Skills: strong critical thinking, time management, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the Semiconductor industry.
