A leading pharmaceutical manufacturer is seeking experienced Machine Operators (Manufacturing Operator II) to support operations at its Central Islip facility. This role involves operating high-speed production equipment, maintaining strict adherence to cGMP standards, and ensuring accurate documentation of manufacturing activities. Ideal candidates will have a background in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments and the ability to work independently on assigned equipment.

salary: $18 - $25 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery (granulation, compression, coating, encapsulation, etc.) in compliance with SOPs and batch records
  
  
• Perform machine setup, changeovers, cleaning, and routine maintenance
  
  
• Execute production processes as per manufacturing instructions and ensure line clearance prior to starting
  
  
• Document production data accurately and on time
  
  
• Conduct in-process quality checks and report deviations
  
  
• Handle material movement including weighing, labeling, and verifying batches
  
  
• Wear proper PPE and follow all safety protocols
  
  
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
  
  
• Participate in safety programs and comply with company health, safety, and environmental policies
  
  
• Support shift flexibility based on production demands (including weekends or extended hours if needed)
