Responsibilities
Start up and stop equipment.
Read and interpret machine programs.
Record data.
Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.
Measure, mix and pour ingredients.
Calculate concentration of slurry.
Pour materials into mixer or machine hopper.
Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators.
Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and notify
operators and/or supervisors of any malfunctions.
Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
Pull damaged or ineffective materials off the line and notify supervisor.
Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
Ensure parts conform to specifications.
Mark or tag identification on parts.
Clean and organize work areas, tools, and machinery; including the Jet Mill and
mixers.
