Responsibilities
- Safe Transport: Operate a Class B commercial vehicle (side-loader or box truck) in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
- Pre/Post-Trip Inspections: Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure brakes, tires, and lights are in top condition.
- Product Delivery: Unload, maneuver, and deliver cases and kegs of beer/beverages into customer locations using a hand truck or pallet jack.
- Invoice & Collections: Accurately manage delivery paperwork, collect payments (CODs), and handle empty returns/breakage credits.
- Customer Service: Maintain professional relationships with store managers and owners, ensuring orders are placed in the correct storage areas.
- Merchandising: Ensure products are rotated (FIFO) and neatly stacked at the point of delivery.
- Licensing: Valid CDL Class B License with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Experience: Previous experience in beverage distribution or food service delivery is highly preferred.
- Availability: Must be able to work early morning starts until the route is completed
