Key Responsibilities You will operate a wide range of industrial equipment to fabricate parts to exact specifications:
- Core Machining: Operating lathes, mills, and drill presses.
- Finishing & Fitting: Using files, reamers, broaching tools, and grinders to ensure perfect fitment.
- Technical Interpretation: Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and charts to calculate precise measurements.
- Material Handling: Utilizing forklifts and overhead hoists to move heavy components safely.
- Measurement Proficiency: Expert use of calipers, tape measures, and rulers.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and remain standing for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
- Mathematical Competency: Comfort working with fractions, decimals, and basic algebra.
- Soft Skills: Great communication skills and the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- Experience with pneumatic presses, torches, and industrial presses.
- A proven track record of punctuality and reliable attendance.
- A "builder" mindset—someone who takes pride in creating tangible products with their hands.

Responsibilities
This position is responsible for machining various pump / specialty parts using lathes, mills, files, drill presses, reamers, broaching, pneumatic presses, grinders and other various equipment. Tolerances are determined by reading and interpreting schematics, blue prints, or charts to determine machining measurements. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work independently and have experience mechanical, math, and communication skills. Must be able to lift up to 60lbs. and be on their feet for 8 hrs. a day.
