Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment including pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveyor systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on production machinery and facility equipment.
- Diagnose system failures using schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Maintain, repair, and replace components such as pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, belts, bearings, and gearboxes.
- Inspect, adjust, and align conveyor systems, ensuring proper operation and safety compliance.
- Perform hydraulic and pneumatic system testing, including pressure checks, leak detection, and system calibration.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production issues, providing effective and timely repairs.
- Install, assemble, and commission new machinery and equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and work order documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and company policies.
- Collaborate with production teams and engineers to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and recommend upgrades or modifications to equipment.
- Maintain tools, spare parts inventory, and ensure proper storage of maintenance supplies.
- Assist in training junior technicians or operators on proper equipment use and basic maintenance procedures.
