What We’re Looking For
- Experience: At least 1–3 years of experience in international freight forwarding (Air or Ocean).
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the SFO airport ecosystem and/or the Port of Oakland logistics flow.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., CargoWise, Magaya) and MS Excel.
- The "Forwarder" Mindset: A proactive problem-solver who can pivot when a flight is delayed or a vessel is rolled.
- Communication: Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills.
- The Hub: Work in the primary logistics artery of Northern California.
- Growth: This is a pipeline position for multiple upcoming openings—apply once to be considered for several specialized teams.
- Pace: Engage in a dynamic environment where no two days (or shipments) are the same.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate Shipments: Manage end-to-end transportation for international cargo (Air, Ocean, or both).
- Documentation: Prepare and audit essential shipping documents (House/Master Air Waybills, Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, and AES filings).
- Compliance: Ensure all shipments adhere to Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations and TSA security standards.
- Client Relations: Provide top-tier service by tracking shipments and providing real-time updates to global partners and local clients.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with drayage companies, airlines, and steamship lines to secure space and competitive rates.
