Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and field devices.
- Diagnose and repair power and motor control systems and frequency drives.
- Locate and correct issues causing equipment downtime or suboptimal performance.
- Monitor and test PLC devices and system connectivity to ensure proper functionality.
- Maintain and repair equipment throughout the plant, including plant utilities (compressed air, water systems, refrigeration, steam, ventilation, etc.).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduation from a trade or technical school preferred (focus in industrial automation, electricity-electronics, PLC, etc.).
- 4 to 6 years of experience in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or PLCs, in a manufacturing environment.
- State-certified electrician license and additional certifications or licenses may be required during employment.
