Responsibilities
- Operate and set up Swiss-style CNC Machines to produce precision parts for various industries, including medical devices, aerospace, and automotive.
- Lead a team of 6 machinists
- Read and interpret complex technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate machining processes.
- Select appropriate tools, inserts, and machine parameters to optimize machining efficiency and part quality.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on Swiss machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to refine machining processes and improve product quality.
- Conduct in-process inspections and quality checks to ensure parts meet specified tolerances and standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
