Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and urgent repairs to maintain production schedules and meet compliance.
- Respond promptly to unplanned mechanical issues affecting performance or safety.
- Complete assigned safety work orders and support plant safety, health, and environmental programs.
- Identify needed parts and work with purchasing to order and track them; communicate status updates to team members.
- Develop and manage spare parts inventory.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, automation, and control systems using prior experience.
- Safely operate shop tools, forklifts, and scissor lifts.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair plant machinery and systems (e.g., pumps, motors, valves, water treatment).
- Assist in the construction, installation, and setup of new equipment.
- Demonstrate commitment to quality, safety, attention to detail, and continuous improvement.
- Uphold and promote the company’s mission and values.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
