Responsibilities

The Plant Supervisor oversees all aspects of ready-mix concrete plant operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across production and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily plant operations including safety, production, maintenance, and quality.
  
  
• Supervise plant staff and drivers to ensure smooth, efficient operations.
  
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA, environmental, and safety regulations.
  
  
• Operate computerized batching systems to produce high-quality concrete.
  
  
• Maintain adequate inventory and schedule material deliveries per customer needs.
  
  
• Monitor delivery schedules for timeliness, safety, and efficiency.
  
  
• Inspect facilities, equipment, and trucks to uphold maintenance and housekeeping standards.
  
  
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to maintain reliable plant operations.
  
  
• Review and maintain accurate operational records and reports.
  
  
• Train, direct, counsel, and discipline employees as needed.
  
  
• Promote a safe and productive work environment with strong team collaboration.
  
  
• Maintain positive relationships with co-workers and external partners.
  
  
• Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
