Qualifications:
- 5+ years of food manufacturing experience required.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a production environment preferred.
- strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety, and workplace safety practices.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities
- Place a strong focus on employee safety
- Perform start-up activities, including equipment set-up, distribution of paperwork, job assignments, and coordination of needed schedule adjustments.
- Instruct employees in work rules, methods, and procedures
- Re-assign or perform production tasks to ensure proper coverage
- Monitor work in production areas to maintain production standards, ensure quality, and promote safety
- Train and mentor employees
- Work with team members in other departments to facilitate plant needs
- Conduct employee reviews and evaluations
- Facilitate completion of shift records, labor hours, extra packaging, etc.
- Ensure GMP and Food Safety programs are followed
