Responsibilities
- Operated industrial mixers and bakery equipment to prepare doughs and batters for international baked goods such as pirozhki, babka, rugelach, challah, and other Eastern European specialties.
- Followed batch sheets, recipes, and verbal instructions in Ukrainian/Russian to ensure accurate ingredient preparation and mixing.
- Measured, weighed, and mixed ingredients such as flour, yeast, eggs, dairy, and spices according to strict formulations.
- Adjusted mixing speeds, times, and hydration levels to meet texture and product requirements.
- Worked closely with bilingual team members and supervisors, interpreting baking instructions and communicating production needs.
- Maintained food safety and cleanliness standards (HACCP, GMP), including cleaning equipment and documenting batch records.
- Assisted with oven loading, proofing, and finishing tasks when needed.
