Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the maintaining, troubleshooting, repair, occasional transfer of equipment between facilities and documenting performed work of manufacturing machines, support equipment and site building systems
• 2:00pm -10:30pm - Monday-Friday and every other Saturday 2pm - 10:30pm
• Corrective & Preventative Maintenance:
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
• Daily inspections for facility and production equipment and systems
• Document all maintenance activities and file all records in the CMMS system
• Detect malfunctions, repair, inspect and test machinery / equipment: for safety or unsafe conditions
• Discuss the machine operation variations with supervisors and operators; diagnose problems and repairs; increase efficiency of machines; bring equipment and environment within SG safety guidelines
• Maintains 5S on tools, spare parts inventory, and work area
• Ensures adequate spare parts inventory; places orders on tools/spare parts as necessary, with manager approval
• Ensure all work orders are closed and follow-up to improve reliability effectiveness
• Secures facilities and equipment in case of emergency or crisis situation
• Responsible for the repair and maintenance of facility and grounds in regard to safety and compliance whether city, state, federal, or company requirements
• Perform other duties as directed or required
